About IVE
Who is IVE?
IVE (아이브) is a South Korean K-pop girl-group formed by Starship Entertainment.
They debuted on December 1, 2021 with the single album "Eleven". Followed shortly by "LOVE DIVE", that earned them a Song of the Year award, but before the year ends, they come back with their third single album "After LIKE" which solidified their position in the industry.

The group consists of six (6) members: Yujin, Gaeul, Wonyoung, Liz, Leeseo, who are all from South Korea, and Rei, who is from Japan.

Pre-debut
Before debuting as IVE, several members had already made their mark in the K-pop industry. An Yujin and Jang Wonyoung represented Starship Entertainment in the 2018 reality competition series Produce 48.
Yujin finished in fifth place, while Wonyoung ranked first, earning both a place in the project group Iz*One. They actively promoted with Iz*One until its disbandment on April 29, 2021.
Gaeul joined Starship Entertainment in 2017 after being discovered at a dance competition in Incheon, showcasing her early passion for performance.
Rei became a Starship trainee in 2018 after impressing judges at the Loen Friends Global Audition in Japan. She relocated to Korea in May of that year to begin her training, quickly standing out for her unique vocal tone.
Liz joined Starship in 2019 through an open audition, demonstrating her talent and determination.
Leeseo was previously an SM Entertainment Kids model and was scouted by Starship while at a department store. In a recent episode of ILLIT Minju's Pink Cabinet, Minju revealed that she and Leeseo were once trainees at the same (undisclosed) agency, many assumed it was with YG as Minju was once a YG trainee.
On November 2, 2021, Starship Entertainment officially announced the formation of a new girl group. Between November 3 and 8, the members were introduced in the following order: Yujin, Gaeul, Wonyoung, Liz, Rei, and Leeseo.
By November 8, Starship confirmed the group's debut date as December 1, 2021, and shortly after, revealed the title of their first single album: "Eleven".

Concerts and Tours
IVE has captivated fans worldwide through a variety of live events, including fan meetings, fan concerts (fancons), and appearances at major music shows. In August 11, 2023, they announced that they will have their first-ever world tour.
By November 7, dates across Asia, North America, Europe, South America and Oceania were announced. IVE is set to perform across multiple continents and bring their dynamic stage presence to a global audience.
After completing the first leg of their world tour in 2023, the group announced the second leg of their world tour on March 8, 2024. The second leg will cover cities in Asia, North America, and Europe from May to July 2024.
On April 1, 2024, the group announced it will hold two shows at Tokyo Dome to conclude the tour. Later on, Oricon News reported that tickets for both shows sold out within 10 seconds. Thus, more seats will be made available due to high demand.
On June 9, 2024, the group announced two encore shows at Seoul's KSPO Dome due to high demand.
They've concluded their first world tour in September 2024 at Tokyo Dome and they're expected to embark on a new world tour starting the end of October 2025.

Achievements
Since their debut, IVE has set remarkable records and achieved significant milestones:
- Fastest Girl Group to Win a Music Show: IVE won their first music show trophy just 7 days after debut with ELEVEN on Show Champion, making them, then, the fastest girl group to achieve this feat.
- Rookie Grand Slam: In 2022, IVE swept all major South Korean girl-group rookie awards, including the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), Melon Music Awards (MMA), Golden Disc Awards, Seoul Music Awards, and many more.
- Song of the Year Awards: Their hit single LOVE DIVE earned multiple Song of the Year (Daesang) awards at major ceremonies such as MAMA, MMA, and Golden Disc Awards in 2022.
- Million-Seller Albums: IVE achieved remarkable commercial success with both LOVE DIVE and After LIKE each surpassing one million copies sold. Also, in 2023, IVE received a commendation from South Korea's Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Philanthropy
On February 14, 2023, IVE and Starship Entertainment donated 150 million KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to support emergency relief efforts following the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
In March 2025, IVE contributed 200 million KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to aid wildfire recovery efforts. This donation supported those affected by wildfires and helped improve resources and awareness for firefighters working on the front lines of disaster response.
Virality
IVE's meteoric rise began with their debut single "Eleven," which quickly topped charts and earned them their first music show award just seven days after debut. A pivotal moment contributing to their early popularity occurred during SBS Inkigayo, when Leeseo's performance captured widespread attention. As she sang her part, the camera dramatically zoomed in, creating a memorable scene that went viral online and intrigued the viewers and new followers.
